What this directory is for

Search for a Christian concert in Ohio and you will find it in seconds. Ticketing platforms index them, promoters buy ads for them, and aggregators list them the day they go on sale.

Now try to find out whether anyone within an hour of you is holding a revival next month.

That information exists. It is on a church's events page, or a flyer, or a Facebook post that surfaced once and sank. It is rarely anywhere you would think to look, and almost never anywhere a search engine will hand to someone who did not already know the church's name.

The asymmetry is the whole problem

A touring artist has a promoter whose job is discoverability. A congregation of ninety people holding four nights of preaching has a volunteer who made a graphic.

The events that most need finding are the ones with nobody whose job it is to make them findable.

So this directory exists first for those, and concerts are kept in their own section — welcome, but not the point.

How listings work here

• We publish facts only from a ministry's own page: dates, times, addresses, prices
• We never copy their description — that writing is theirs
• Every reposted listing says where it came from and when we last checked it
• If a source does not publish a start time, we say so instead of guessing
• Any ministry can claim their listing, and nobody has to email us to be included

That last point matters more than it sounds. A directory that requires ministries to come to it will only ever list the ministries that already have someone doing marketing — which is precisely the group that needed the least help.

And the writing

The listings tell you what is happening. The articles are for who is doing it — the camps running nine retreats a year, the conferences that quietly price for single mothers, the churches that have held the same revival week for thirty years.

That part is not a directory. That is the reason to come back.
